The 94517.com project was born out of a need to fill a vacuum.
Clayton has no website. The City doesn't have one. The community doesn't have one. The Clayton Business and Community Association does have a webpage but the individual businesses in the CBCA do not. There just isn't a virtual country store where the Clayton community can gather to stay in touch.
Clayton deserves a webpage. Clayton is a terrific place. It is beautiful. It is HomeTown, America. It's small town and yet it is assuredly on the march.
People in Clayton feel they are a part of something special. Clayton is special. The 94517 pages will attempt to capture some of the essence of what makes Clayton so unique.
So, if you have something you would like to contribute, send it to us via E-mail or on a 3.5" floppy disk in either MS Word or WordPerfect format. We'll look it over, edit it, and may publish it if we find of to be in good taste, friendly in nature, of public interest, and it suits our fancy.
